FOO TAK FLUX Foo Tak Building Docent Tours x Studio Open Days
Located between Wan Chai and Causeway Bay, there is a seemingly typical commercial/ residential building called Foo Tak Building. More than a decade ago, the main landlord of the building entrusted an independent art practitioner to transform some flats into art and cultural spaces propitiously. To date, there are twenty flats turned into bookshops, artists’ studios, offices of cultural organizations, and spaces for exhibition and music creation, in the form of sponsored residency with low degree of management by Art & Culture Outreach (ACO).
FOO TAK FLUX invites you to come visit our community, while we open our doors to share what we care and are passionate about in our daily life. Docent tours organized by ACO over the two weekends will offer us opportunities to exchange the ideas and visions generated in this old building. You may also hop around different studios to experience the diverse and intense creative energy!
